Bull Evidian and IDEALX Form a Commercial Partnership |
|
Tuesday, 10 October 2006 |
Bull Evidian and IDEALX form a commercial partnership focused on strong authentication and Enterprise Single Sign-On solutions.
Thanks to their interoperable solutions, Bull Evidian and IDEALX can now offer smart-card/USB key management, Single-Sign On (SSO) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) implementation.
Paris, 10 October 2006 - Bull Evidian and IDEALX announce today the interoperability of their WiseGuard (secure enterprise SSO) and OpenTrust (Card Management System and PKI) solutions. The solution brings together cryptographic tokens (on a USB key or smart card), PIN codes and single sign-on, providing access to enterprise data in a way that is both extremely simple and highly secure.
Access rights management: the interoperability of the two offerings enables organizations to manage users’ access rights to applications, assigning them an appropriate encryption resource and automatically generating digital certificates.
Automatic verification of digital certificate validity: The validity of the user’s digital certificate is automatically checked, first when a user logs in to his or her station, and thereafter during the course of the Windows session. When a new token is submitted, the user certificates can be regenerated.
Bull Evidian and IDEALX have already implemented their WiseGuard and OpenTrust solutions for a major company, as part of an IT security infrastructure designed to manage tens of thousands of users.
