About Us

OpenTrust, founded in 2001, designs and develops solutions for the implementation of secure IT infrastructures.  Our customers include some of the most demanding European Fortune 500 and government bodies often involved in very sensitive areas (national security, nuclear energy, financial transactions, airlines etc. ) as well as enterprises whose aim is simply to better protect their assets.

At OpenTrust, we believe that security will go through a major transformation in the coming years. The building of a traditional "IT fortress" to protect corporate assets with guards at all entry points is no longer sufficient to cope with the way we use information systems today. Today's systems are open to a large variety of users who are no longer contained within a private network. The paradigm of total reliance on perimeter security solutions such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems is therefore changing. We believe that, to be truly efficient security must also rely on the level of trust that can be granted to devices, users, networks and applications.

Our Objective:

To implement electronic trust by placing identity management at the heart of the IT infrastructure bringing security, reliability, scalability and productivity together to new standards. Our solutions are easy to implement and allow companies to leverage investment already made in IAM technologies.

Background:

IT system security has, for too long, been unnecessarily complicated, hard to implement, and costly. In today’s world, where mobile computing is on the rise, where e-business is flourishing and where the number and variety of threats to information systems is constantly multiplying, the securing of transactions and data is critical to any business strategy . Traditional network perimeter security is no longer adequate. IT systems must give users the freedom to use laptops and external devices securely.

Our Mission

To implement electronic trust for secure transactions and processes, while maximizing  productivity ..... all with short-term ROI!
