In line with providing complete solutions to our customers, OpenTrust proposes comprehensive training for your employees. Training courses cater for all levels and are available in both English and French.
Training can take place at either the OpenTrust training center in Issy-les-Moulineaux near Paris or, if preferred, on-site at the customer’s premises. If required, training can include tailor-made course modules to meet the specific needs of each customer and project.
All our standard training sessions include a certification exam that validates the skills of participants. All training sessions comprise 70% hands-on activities.

- Discovery of the Digital certificate and strong authentication based on OpenTrust products
On demand, OpenTrust proposes ad-hoc training sessions that can be delivered on the customer’s own premises:

Introduction to PKI concepts
- Using OpenTrust PKI as a certificate requester or certificate holder
- Managing OpenTrust PKI and the life cycles of certificates
- Overview of product architecture and components common to OpenTrust PKI & SCM
- Installing & configuring OpenTrust PKI
- Introduction to card management system concepts
- Using OpenTrust SCM as a card requester or smart card holder
- Managing OpenTrust SCM and smart card life cycles
- Installing & configuring OpenTrust SCM
- Administering and troubleshooting OpenTrust PKI & SCM servers

Course Objectives:
Master the features and functions of the OpenTrust MFT file exchange solution and learn how to administer the platform.
Course Contents:
- Using OpenTrust MFT to transfer files, end user interface
- Managing an OpenTrust MFT Domain
- Configuring an OpenTrust MFT Domain
- Overview of product architecture and key components
- Administering and troubleshooting the OpenTrust MFT server
- End-of-course certification exam

Prerequisites:
- General knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows
Course Objectives:
This training course will help participants to become familiar with the concepts of strong authentication and digital certificates. They will be introduced to both OpenTrust PKI & OpenTrust SCM products.
Course Contents:
- Introduction to cryptography and PKI concepts
- Using OpenTrust PKI to request certificates and manage certificate life cycles
- Introduction to card management system concepts
- Using OpenTrust SCM to request smart cards and manage smart card life cycles (changing PIN code, unlocking, revoking, recovering credentials, etc.)
- Authentication to Wi-Fi or VPN with certificate
- Smart card logon to your workstation
- Encrypting and signing emails
- Securing a mobile phone with certificate
